AVEDA ADARA (she/her) 

is an Indigenous artist from Red Rock, New Mexico, currently residing in Houston, Texas. Aveda is a performance artist, DJ, producer, vlogger, and podcaster (Two Spirit Podcast). Her recent performances include: Cell Lust performed at Contemporary Arts Museum Houston, DJing for the International Drag Festival, and was featured as a public speaker at the La Raza for Liberation. Her previous mediums of art have been featured at Jomar Visions, Shape of Things Gallery. She has worked with Dinolion productions for social media marketing campaigns and music videos. Most recently she was awarded the Artist in Leadership Fellowship by First Peoples Fund. As an urban Indian, she uses elements from her Dineh tradition in her artistic practice.
