Qollective

Qollective, established in 2018, was first a collective of artists nomadically and collaboratively searching for space to show their works in the city of Houston.  Founding members of Qollective are Aveda Adara, Sebastian Gomez de la Torre, Frank Hernandez, Larry Johnson, Philip Karjeker, Hugo Perez, and Jesse Treviño.

 

Qollective joins 3 of Cups as a program in 2021, and is progressively moving toward a future as a sliding scale arts co-op that supports Houston-based Queer artists and creatives by providing a dedicated exhibition space and curatorial opportunities.

Our Dreams for Qollective include fellowships, local short term residencies, a nationwide city-to-city artist exchange with other programs like ours, and an international residency for queer artists at risk in their home countries.
